The United States and the United Kingdom have reached an agreement to remove high tariffs on British steel, aluminum and other products, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the UK’s secretary of State for International Trade, announced on social media on Tuesday. At the same time, the UK will also remove retaliatory tariffs on some US goods.
It is reported that the US will allow 500,000 tons of British steel to enter the US market with zero tariff every year.
